Take a moment and look around. Who do you see? Not just with your eyes, but more importantly with your heart. Jesus has told us that he will never leave us or forsake us. Do you see him in this place right now where you are? Jacob in one of the lowest spots in his life, one of the darkest spots in his life, encounters God. God made a promise that he would never leave him, that he would be his provision, and that he would bless him. We have that same promise today. The first person we see in this place should be our Lord. Regardless of where we are, or our circumstances, He is here to bless us and guide us.
